Take a walk around the Ivy League college, Yale University’s campus, and through the nearby New Haven Town Green to catch a glimpse of the leaves falling. Nicknamed the “Elm City” for its Elm trees, New Haven is filled with trees with changing leaves during the autumn season. The historic city of New Haven, Connecticut, is one of the best places for fall foliage. Not only is it a little less busy, but it offers some quieter trails deep in the park that will take you through a canopy of brilliant colors. If Central Park is not your thing, head to Brooklyn to check out Prospect Park instead. I recommend heading here in mid-to-late October when the trees have turned their stunning reds, yellows, and oranges.
